The motor yacht “Geus”.

This nice motor yacht is one of a series of three and was built in 1947 under number 877 at the yard Nicolaas, Witzen & Vis in Alkmaar. In the year 1958 the ship was owned by the management of the dredging company van Oord. The mahogany wheelhouse and cabin was later replaced by a steel structure. The home was Vianen. The name “Geus” comes from Hendrik van Brederode, lord of Vianen and the first real geus. At the end of the nineties, the yacht was sold to Werkendam.

A model of the yacht, you ever possessed, is a beautiful remembrance of the good times and the fun the family had with it.
